Fengshen Cave-Tiankeng Scenic Spot

Fengshen Cave-Tiankeng Scenic Spot is located in Fengshendong Village, Huilongsi Town, Xinning County. Drive along Provincial Highway S218 towards Mount Langshan, turn left at Huilong Town, and proceed for another 2 kilometres (signposts and navigation available) to reach Fengshen Cave. The scenic area stretches 2 kilometres in total and is divided into upper, middle and lower three levels.

The cave boasts magnificent momentum and charming scenery. There are stone “waterfalls” plunging from above, the mysterious “divine wind” that has puzzled visitors for ages, as well as the “twin dragons” soaring on clouds carved on the stone wall.

Surrounded by steep, sheer cliffs, the Tiankeng is a karst landform, also known as a karst doline. It is unique, precipitous, grand, spectacular and graceful, with a touch of mystery. It features a distinctive ecological environment and high tourism value. Its bottom is shaped like a huge wok. Legend says it is scattered with colourful stones left by Nüwa when she mended the sky. The whole sightseeing tour of Fengshen Cave-Tiankeng Scenic Spot takes about 2 hours.
