Yunü(Jade Maiden) Rock Scenic Spot
Yunü(Jade Maiden) Rock Scenic Spot is located in Shuimiao Town, Xinning County, 15 kilometers away from the county seat. Famous for its green mountains, secluded caves, exotic rocks, divine aura and luxuriant lotus plants, it was praised by Professor Yu Jinbiao, a renowned national expert in speleology, as “an underground palace of marvelous rocks in the world”.
Mysterious and deep, Yunü Rock winds and twists in countless turns. Inside the cave, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains and cave flowers present varied and fantastic shapes, crafted with extraordinary workmanship and vividly lifelike. Its main features include large areas of karst landform figurative bedrock, as well as a cluster of underground narrow-sky vistas chiseled like by axes and knives, resembling a tunnel through time and space.
