First Thailand Site Inspection Delegation Visits Mount Langshan
On September 24, the Thailand outbound travel association organized local travel agents and new media influencers for a site inspection tour at Langshan Scenic Area in Xinning county, Hunan province. The group immersed themselves in the unique charm of this World Natural Heritage site, conducting on-site surveys of cultural and tourism resources as well as cooperation conditions, laying a solid foundation for in-depth cultural and tourism cooperation between the two regions.
On September 23, Hunan Airlines resumed its round-trip flights between Thailand and Changsha. This Thailand inspection group visiting Langshan is the first inbound cultural-tourism delegation after the resumption of the Hunan-Thailand air route, marking a substantive step for Langshan in tapping into the Southeast Asian tourism market.
Thailand travel agent Meifeng Zhang: “It is very convenient for Thai tourists to come to Mount Langshan. After the flight resumption, the direct flight from Bangkok to Changsha takes only around three hours. Tourists can then take a transfer to reach the scenic spot. It is truly a ‘go whenever you want’ trip to experience this ‘romance of Chinese mountains and rivers’.”
During the site inspection tour, the Thai delegation visited core scenic spots including Chili Peak and Bajiaozhai, and experienced the local gate-welcoming wine ritual. The imposing Danxia peak forests, the clear, winding Fuyi River, and the rich, warm folk customs left a deep impression on the delegation members. They took photos for keepsakes and shared the beauty of Langshan in real time with their followers across Southeast Asia via social medias.
